Saturday night on the news there was a short piece highlighting the growth of the LDS church in Korea, with plenty of video showing groups of happy, smiling members. (http://ksltv.com/391467/lds-church-in-south-korea-continues-to-grow/) According to the piece, there are 87,000 members, 4 missions, 1 temple and 120 congregations, and those numbers are growing. However, like many, many church

The church claims 148,862 members in Australia. Please reference my observations about New Zealand to interpret the differences (this was from a few years ago) NEW ZEALAND. Consider the Mormon church membership claims and the independent data concerning membership in the country of New Zealand. The Mormon church claims to have 107,511 members in New Zealand, and also claims to have 20

It's desperation, but they are turning the temple workers pool into a secondary dating pool to try to keep the believers "yoked" together inside the cult. Watch for some sad and tragic fireworks as some of the predatory types figure out they can take advantage of this opportunity.

Bookmarking. Your observation was very important in my research since context is everything. 30 years ago mormonism could hide much more easily in "gaps" where not nearly as much was known. But today these gaps are long gone and filled with truths about civilizations and peoples that have covered this hemisphere for thousands of years despite the claim that the "choice lands we

So sorry you have to suffer through this. Many of us think we have reached the bottom of how cruel mormons can be to their own family members, and then we find out AGAIN we were wrong. Please consider having your OWN services for your brother. I would come to it. Many of us would come to it. We could record it and you could speak your truths and pay a proper tribute to your brother as he

We have been seeing the explosion of content in blogs, podcasts, conferences, workshops, websites, far beyond what we could have imagined only a few short years ago. In many ways we feel like this is a bit of a "mission accomplished" conference, since we have always hoped that there WOULD be an amazing plethora of content ubiquitously, and now it is hard to argue that the horse isn'

I actually worked to contact all the folks I baptized to apologize for lying to them. I did not want my memory or legacy to stand in any way in anyone's thoughts as a testimony builder. Over a third were already out I discovered, lol.

In my experience, mainstream (non-fundamental, non-evangelical) christianity has an ecumenical tendency. If you are baptized in a methodist church, for example, no episcopalian is likely to worry about baptizing you again. Do-good-to-others mainstream christians tend to see a broad swath of christianity as the "Body of Christ" and find fellowship with many groups, rather than see t

Mormons are frequently clueless about the fact that other religious temples and sites around the world welcome cameras and visitors and inquiries, with little or no interference whatsoever. Their paranoia should be very telling.

I responded to a post sort of praising the website with this. I believe this website offers much more bad than it does good. The message "You are loved and we all want you to feel better by getting help" is pouring salt in the wounds. It is like a batterer who makes a big deal out of posting the numbers to ambulance services and emergency rooms, all the while crowing about how mu

All the more reason to join in working to put a knife in the mormon cult for good. Besides, who else but us? Nonmo's don't care. It's up to the victims of mormonism to work to expose it, to criticize it, to curtail it's influence and credibility in the world. And ultimately to prevail against it. I would like to point out that it is likely that some religions of some sort may persist,

Last year the attorney's office providing free representation to anyone wishing to resign processed over 6,000 resignations. To date, since beginning to offer free services last summer his count is over 11,500 resignations. The "several thousand people" number is an estimate based on our experience holding this event since 2012. The Facebook page number is never accurate because,
