When my husband gave our son his name & blessing , My husband said : "The name on the records of the church you will be known by is : given name . The nickname your family & friends will call you is : nickname." I absolutely do NOT agree with this new policy with the SSM & children. ABOMINABLE !!! :'(

I HATE the "Dry Council ". I haven't been to church in years. But there's only been one Dry Councilman who I ever liked who came & spoke. He talked about the congregation at Walmart that he saw when he stopped at walmart on his way to our Sacrement Meeting. We all sat right up & listened to every word he said. First & last Dry Councilman talk I ever listened to.

I don't do funerals AT ALL. I HATE how the Mormon church has dictated , ( Yes , they have DICTATED) how the talks have to teach the gospel only. I have told me family that whenever I die , do NOT call anyone AT ALL in the church. I'm sure a lot of staunch L.D.S. will want to give Sodom & Gomorrah as an example. Back in the 80's , my best friend & I did a complete , in depth study on Sodom & Gomorrah .
