Funny, I shared a BoA video (can't remember the name, but it clearly explained how the BoA could not be true) with a TBM friend and all he could say was, "yeah but, what good does this do... What good does this say?" I guess you can't even reason with that...

Interesting. When I began investigating Mormonism, I was unsure about the bible and probably even thought it was based on truth. It didn't take long to see the many holes in Mormonism, and soon after, i was able to see the holes in all religions. Something about the critical thinking I used as well as the plethora of information and tools to dissect a belief. And the rest is history. Bob M

Over the years I believe this has been talked about here, but I'd like to bring it back up. When Mormons stop believing in Mormonism, it seems so many go atheist. Some even go off the deep end, at least for awhile and then tend to come back around to a somewhat level ground, but atheist nonetheless. Of the regular flavor Christians i know that stop going to church, they simply stop attendi

We love our French press! I don't think there is any extra cleaning involved. It's so simple: boil water in a teapot, put a scoop of coffee in the press, pour the water in, stir a bit, press, and pout into your mug. For cleanup, I simply rinse with warm water. Then I wash it every so often. On weekends, I like to add some bailey's to my mug!

I've been reading this site and others like it for about 10 years. With the knowledge/truth I have learned about the Mormon church, I can't think of what it's like to not know. What do you all think the average TBM knows about their church. For example, do they even know about the BoA scandal? Or how much do they really know about polygamy, other than, it was practiced. I thought I'd ask here

The comments are still open on his profile page. I wonder if the wife is taking this better than most? Either that, or this is completely fake. Not long and they'll be on Ellen.

Yup. Some people are scared to drive, some never learn to drive stick, and some don't use tampons.

Call me a a bad friend, but I would kick him out immediately! Now! Your safety and happiness is worth more than taking anybody in. You do not owe him this. You do not need to take him in to be a good, charitable person. Smart and safe is better than charitable and nice.

What about indoor plumbing? Do you dig holes in the backyard, or does each family member get a kitty litter box? Haha. Maybe morgbots should stock up on kitty litter!

I moved to Utah over a decade ago. It has changed significantly since then. The Olympics may have helped a little and the ski industry seems to bring new and interesting people on each year. Having said all that, we are moving in the next year or two. We just can't take the Mormon think any longer. I am so excited to see this place in my rear view mirror as I drive away. Perhaps Utah in hin

There's great advise here! Be strong, stand up for your convictions, try to work on your marriage. I know it must be hard... I don't know what the issues are in your marriage. But if you can be a unified front with your husband, you can stand up to the morg. How is your sex life? I would start with more sex.

Interesting, I had assumed they washed a lot of the things in there. Otherwise it would really smell. But the disinfectant explains that.
