They can love me all they want! They should have loved me, back then, as I was one of the most strident when it came to complying with their LDS Inc standards and demands. Maybe they did love me, but not as much as making things impossibly difficult for me, AS IF that was doing some kind of good. Now they have the current situation, that is much more pleasant for me, but may not be as pleasan

LDS Inc has issued these "please come back" cards, an official plea from the First Pres.to come back for those who have made an exit. I have seen one. I think there are people here, who could back me up that they are a reality. It's as close to begging as I have ever seen from LDS Inc. I think that is huge. LDS Inc is very proud, they'd never have done this if they were not feeli

I have an 18 year old niece and an 18 year old nephew (from different families) that are currently grinding away at the LDS Inc full time missionary experience. what a horrible thing to do to vulnerable 18 year old kids, but then again this is about the best way ever, a prime way, to show them how really parasitic and willing that the LDS Inc. cult is to exploit them, to exploit EVERYBODY, and j

talk about convoluted, but hey, it makes sense.... to MORmONS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8rJpI-Zm5U and just so people know EXACTLY who is specifically being made fun of this instance, as well as making fun of MORmONISM in general, this particular self promoted highly inspirational pro MORmON figure will be pointed out here, as it is not allowed to directly point them out on the

remember, getting to wear temple garments is just a subset of the entire MORmON temple blessing package. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSMqp1sU49U You would have a hard time convincing me that God really cares about much of anything. The world keeps turning, but what does that really mean? A lot of bad things happen to a lot of people while this world trundles on. Maybe the cosmos is

It was Senator Barak Obama and Orrin Hatch that pushed a law through that made it Legal for people to continue to pay tithing to churches, even while in the throes of bankruptcy. Just stating that info. I don't think that's right/moral, admitting that statement does tread into an opinion that might be considered political. I also have a devout TBM friend on SSI that was half a clic

I don't know where to start on this story. ....... Well, OK, actually I do. It sounds like it's got some mission lore in it, but that's just my impression, I'm not even going to label it my *opinion* because I don't hold to it that strongly and when it comes right down to it you don't have any way to really prove your claims, just as I don't have any way to really disprove them, and disprov

One the one hand baptism is just a ceremonial bath, it's symbolic, but on the other hand LDS Inc is going to use this as license to plow ahead at full speed with their MORmON agenda, it's symbolic of that too, and THAT is what's really putting knots in your stomach. Your kids have a break though, and that's the fact that someone like you is there as a parental influence to break up that iron

rescinding approval ( backing out) seems like such a cheap tacky thing to do, until a person realizes they are dealing with LDS INC and just How revisionist LDS INC really is. THEN it becomes clear that sometimes it's necessary to fight fire with fire.

I did not think you were too defensive, you stood behind what you initially said, clarified it, and you were correct -you did not say McMahon won it for BYU, but you had also very successfully conveyed the fact that your relatives are quite starry eyed about some of this stuff, which is what we were both getting at. It was just the evolution of the conversation. I liked what you said.

well that ( the video clip) was interesting (My MORmON girl friend is totally gorgeous, and she is a real pain, I mean to the point that its hard for her to get along with herself at times! When she is being a pain, I take a break. when shes sweet, its really nice, and frankly she's not too bright )

I was not trying to beat you up over details, It was much more about my wondering if the 1984 BYU Football NCAA Natl Championship has finally taken on some truly mythological standing in the TBM minds of your family, evolving beyond its basis in reality, well on its way to becoming an epic MORmON lore, kind of like the first vision account did. Oh and BTW, Virginia beat BYU today.

WHY would anyone want to spend any time speaking to these people, even to tell them "I am not coming in" Sure, it would be the polite thing to do, but why reward their totally invasive and inconsiderate efforts with the courtesy that they don't know how to employ?
