Excellent point and one I've made many times before. Sacrament is supposedly for remission of your sins Tithing supposedly brings forth temporal blessings But if you "mess up" in the Mormon church you would think that god was looking to bless you in your sin but didn't want you to be forgiven, because you are still under obligation to pay tithing, but may not take sacrament.
