Yes. They would dispute the word fraud, but they know what we know. They have chosen to act on that knowledge differently.

This is one of the behaviors of the Morg that concern me. I hope the documents won't get lost as time passes. That false prophecies will not be lost and evil and silly doctrines will not be forgotten. My timing is such that the repulsive self-mutilation temple rituals were sold to me as beautiful and shortly after went away. What does that mean? I was done, don't know the details, but can't imagi

Using their own teachings to challenge their actions is an effective way to shut down a conversation about religion. Failing to experience your own individual mortality with the Grace of Christ and follow an institutional plan to sa

I hope those contemplating a relationship, marriage, or starting a family to a Mormon while outside or doubting will see and feel these situations. The examples of situations where this works may not be here in this forum, but there are substantial examples where discordant beliefs are not part of the Mormon plan for the family. If I had a parent who wanted to be honest with me about Mormonism

Glad you are able to divert your anger from frustration here. It is understandable. I hope good things will happen that support your decision. Your sons will learn the truth someday I hope that their mother will understand this sooner than later as the decision to withhold information may effect their relationship with her as well as their religion. There was another somewhat relevant thread a

Very well expressed. The image in my mind is of the kiddie put-put cars at the carnival that go round and round in a circle, same speed, safe and familiar.
