When I was very young I was taught that the constitution was a "living" document and that this was a "living" church. i.e. both would change over time. But some want "divine" to mean perfect and unchanging.

Has anyone been to the annual Constitution Week activities in Gilbert, AZ? Really depressing. No Seperation of LDS church and right wing extremism. Booths, Stage, seating and flags are set up by the Gilbert Stake. All chairs tables etc. have "Gilbert Stake" stenciled onto them. Members come in hordes ala Easter Pagent to set it up. In the newspaper the Stake President/Town Mayor
