I think it probably just feels weird and maybe not knowing how to act or react I they were to hold hands, kiss or touch at all. My sister is in a lesbian relationship, I haven't seen her in forever, but I often run through the scenario in my mind and I feel the same way. I have anxiety over it because it would just be weird. Not against it, just weird. So, I get it.

So, family member posted on facebook that Obama said to not read the blogs or listening to the "talking heads" because it creates fears..so his point was that Obama only wants us to get our info from GOVERNMENT SOURCES...um, sounds like the TSCC, eh? Aren't we encouraged heavily not to seek sources from outside of the church, etc? Just sayin'...Makes me want to really dig deep in both

Wow, this sucks. I have a gay sister and I wasn't tolerant at first either (I was Tbm though too). I now see I was wrong and it's not cool to be intolerant. If I were to give you advice, I would tell you to get your feelings out on paper, in a non-attacking way and let it be in her court. I am sorry this happened to you and hope things get better.

I grew up with the Flowers; they were in my ward. Good people and definitely raised LDS. I am much older than him, but grew up with his older sister. I would have to believe that he does what he wishes regardless of what the church would dictate. Anyways, whether he be active now or not I have no clue. I don't know "how mormon" the family ever was; but my memories are from childhood
