No, they don't. I don't. No one does. Facts are facts, or as John Adams said, "Facts are stubborn things." You can interpret facts anyway you choose but you can't deny them. In the year 1600, a man was burned at the stake for publishing the fact that the Earth revolved around the Sun. If you think facts can just be made up, denied, ignored or discarded to suit individual tast

And I'm saying, no that's not quite true. It's not so simple and there are several other factors. I'm sorry you thing I'm attacking you which I am not -- but there doesn't seem to be much difference between what your are saying and the anti-Islamic nutcases. I'm not Muslim nor do I wish to be a Muslim. There's a lot I don't agree with. There are some things in Islamic history I do admire.

Mormonism uses brainwashing and indoctrination to make people believe many things that simply are not true. The problem is that many if not all of the current political turbulence is not based interpretation of fact but the denial of fact itself. Example: Anthropogenic Climate Change. You can debate about what to do about it but you can't deny that it's happening. Example: Trans Bathr

LD$, Inc.'s version of Mormonism is a very, very tiny cult when compared to the major faiths. It's easy for them to define (or try to define) what they are. Not so with Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism and Buddhism. Judaism is practised differently in Israel than it is in America. Israel is only semi-secular. The same goes for Islam. Until recently Turkey was a secular country with

Or belong to a non-Christian faith? This stuff sounds right out of kooky American anti-immigrant or white nationalist groups, AfD in Germany or Britain First in the UK.

You can't adapt reality to fit your perception of existence. It always fails in the end. The light of truth will always vanquish evil.

Ideology -- no matter how fervently believed -- can ever substitute for reality or rational thought. Ignorance is not truth. Dark and dangerous times lay ahead.

The individuals at this meeting were not just "criticising" Islam. They were openly advocating conspiracy theories such as: *** Obama is Muslim and was/is a terrorist *** Every Muslim is terrorist and mosque in every Western country is a terrorist nerve centre *** The goal and raison d'etre of Islam is to wipe out Christianity and any and all Christians If that does not qu

They think Muslims are infiltrating America like the old John Birchers and communists. Read the article. Racism vs. Ethnocentrism: To be racist you have to be in a dominant position of power. Not the same as ethnocentrism.

I never had negative views of LGBT people. I didn't know any growing up. My religious parents never discussed the subject nor was it ever mentioned at school. I only gradually found out through the media and the movies. I was at summer camp when I found out about the girls who wanted to be more than friends. I don't understand why some people fly into a rage when they see gay people. I thi

and work very hard and are not recognised for it. You seem to think that if someone stands up for themselves or someone else and demands fair and equal treatment that means they want something for nothing. Not true at all. How would you like it if someone told you that no matter how much talent you had or how hard you were willing to work or how much in demand your skills were you would nev
