Received and witnessed a few periodically as a youth but never felt or saw anything there. I often wondered what some of them giving the blessing felt or thought.

The church should be put out for putting these missionaries out with inadequate and improper training and support. Families and missionaries themselves sacrafice in many ways (and then they want members / non-members to feed them?) and then who benefits? The BBC (big bad church).

Saw the EQP and his wife the other day - what a pitiful sight. He says in person , we hope you will come back one day permanently and partake of the gospel blessings... something like that and then just drove off. No time for a real conversation.
