What a good example of blatant racism this temple President has shown. Am I surprised? Nope.

There are some heavy topics covered on RFM. imo we need some lightmindedness and loud laughter to make it palatable. As irl, we discuss, agree, argue, joke around.

At my aunt's funeral the sb preacher stood up there and pointed out several people in attendance who were going to hell and why. It was ridiculous. He was the one holding the little pitch fork imo.

Well, living in the bible belt, I'm surrounded by those idiots. They tend to think they are better than others and have the right to judge. My brother is a good example of that type of attitude. If you are there every time the church doors are open, you are heaven bound. That you may piss all over others for the entire remainder of the week does not matter.

I know! And that's a great way to get them to read! (unless of course they download books and pretend to always be reading them when they are texting each other or otherwise playing on their phones or pads) You can tell I'm a middle school teaching veteran. LOL

I can't believed that activity is even allowed. If they insist on some kind of drama, maybe a play indoors in the AC would be more appropriate. The only danger in that would be to die from boredom.

Nightingale, Cl2 and shylock, I have those terrible reactions, too, periodically. I had some awful experiences in tscc, and the worst ones involved my poor children. Some of it I am unable to talk about to this day. I have been through counseling and need more still. I'll be ok for awhile, then something will trigger me and I have to crawl out of it all over again. So hugs and love to all

I have an acquaintance whose daughter had a baby daughter in January this year. The parents named her Seamus. Yep you heard that right. Seamus. They might as well have named her "hit me in the face with the ball in gym class." I just think giving a child an awful name is mean.

One of my close friends went on Ancestry and found out her father had a whole different family she didn't know about (none of these people are Mormon) She visited her half sisters 3 states over. No DNA tests. However, there is some obvious resemblance.

That's a horrible way to treat somebody. I bet there were other "guests" they did this to also.

Wow! They took away fun activities and replaced that with cleaning bathrooms! Too bad that pitifully broke church doesn't have money to make the member's lives easier. Poor church. Poor poor church.

Oh, Messy, I thought the ending was going to be that he fell off the jet ski, it did a circle around by itself and ran over him.

That creep gets so little jail time while his victims suffer from what he did to them till they are in their graves. Next time a TBM asks me why I hate the Mormon church so much, I'll be sure and bring that up.
