Get zipper replaced with a two way zipper which doesn't break as quickly. Any tailor can do it. Cheaper than a new coat.

I hope he bolts from his wife and the church He has lots of good years left to move to a different part of the country, find someone decent and leave her high and dry.

Would love an update on this situation. Europe in general does not sound like a happy story for the profits these days. Looks good on them.

Sitting here wasting time on Sunday morning. Soon will get dressed and walk the dog. Then a little housework, pop in for a quick visit with grands, reading an Xmas book and then a good meal and a relaxing evening with Netflix.

Using the same logic, no Mormon should ever be hired because they might give their testimony.

This time last year my sister was stuck in this exact spot. It took me a family member to get him into a nursing home because she was so mentally and physically worn out. A year later, he is dead and she has her life back. Please start saying no to him or you will be in the nightmare my sister was in.

Only you can make the guilt stop. Sit down, analyze the situation and decide what is the right thing to do. Then do it. When the guilt feelings come, give yourself a good talking to and do not retreat from your course of action. In time guilt feelings will get less of a hold on you.

Many years ago, it was so cold after Christmas that neither of our cars would start. We ran an extension cord down the driveway and plugged it into a hair dryer positioned facing up into the engine block. We left it on all night and the car started like a charm in the morning. The auto club was totally overwhelmed with calls and couldn't say when they could get to us..

It is something people enjoy that is not church related. It is verboten to enjoy anything not church related.

Could you lay it on the line with your mother yourself. Remind her that you and your sister will be the ones they turn to when they are elderly so they should reconsider their actions. Your parents are idiots if they think forcing their daughter and her family back to church will backfire big time.

Was recently in the south for a wedding. What I noticed is a lot of clutching of the pearls if a kid says the f word but the n word flows freely.

Anyone who pays tithing before paying bills, especially food for children, should have their parenting licence revoked on the grounds of stupidity.

Prepping is a hobby, nothing more. In every generations, there is a nutty fringe that predicts and enjoys end times.

I do think the next time a Mormon runs for the presidency and is considered to have an actual chance at winning, the leaked tapes will resurface. If these tapes had been around during Mittens run for the WH, they would have generated a lot of controversy.

Hubby and I had our first dog in an apartment for two years and it was fine. Landlord walked through apartment as we were moving out and he said he was surprised what good shape it was in. Apartment life and a dog is doable.

In Canada, it's the end of the harvest. It's a nice time to get out into the countryside and enjoy the spectacular seasonal colours. The drive to the cottage this year was spectacular.

I hope you tore it in half and walked it directly to the garbage can. That is the only way to deal with this crap.

They have been brainwashed to think that your departure from the church is a big deal. Just enjoy your life and in time your parents will adjust.

I would tell her that your relationship is over and that you do not think it is helpful to her that you two still be in touch. Tell her that for that reason you are going to block any further texts from her. Then do it. I think the kindest thing to do is to make goodbye final this way.

NIce that he and God worked that out. How many kids did he personally "have" that is, give birth to?

Good idea. Use your first sentence as the opener, let one minute go by, then say "the end" and go back and sit down.
