Good story. Love reading your posts. High Priest gave my FIL the healing blessing back in July. My TBM BIL thinks it was a success because he's still alive. Poor man, he is STILL bedridden, STILL on a catheter,STILL on pain medication, totally miserable. It's all in perspective, right?

Are you old enough to remember Ann Landers or Dear Abby? They were advice columns in the newspaper, back in the day of no cable, no computers, tables, or cell phones, no www.internet. The dark ages, ha! (When LDS followers had NO outside information at all..) Situation: my FIL -93 and MIL -90 are in a nursing home in Orem. MIL was a convert but it didn't last and it was a long time ago, like 30 years. Brother in law is TBM Zealot Narcissist and is pestering them non stop to "accept the truth of the LDS church & his patriarchal responsibility " He stays long hours, has left 2 BOM's, 2 KJV's and lots of other LDS apologetics papers and bo

Hi rhdc I have an active LDS friend who's parent's Senior Mission is visiting teaching to women prisoners at the state prison in Draper. They're not allowed to bring anything in, but they conveniently arrive when BOM study is scheduled. The dad is a cool guy, the mom is kind of strange: my friend relayed that she doesn't remember being hugged as a child growing up. They are ÜBER TBM

I came to live in Happy Valley Utah just over 3 years ago, from a very liberal area of So Cal. My hubby's 3 brothers have lived here 20-30 years, and my story is pretty entertaining- stay tuned. Merry Christmas to my new friends on this site...it's been quite helpful
