My wife has decided that I needed to talk to the missionaries recently, so for the last 3-4 weeks they have been visiting once a week. This was something that I struggled with in my transition. For a while I couldnt help but to think that there was no point to anything anymore and felt completely lost and even had suicidal thoughts. Thankfully, I came to realize that there is plenty to live for and I have to make my own purpose. I realized that there is one absolute in life and thats death and there is no need to expedite that.

Im new here, been lurking the last few days though. Finally decided to join and add my support and thoughts where I can. However, I often see a lot of lingo and acronyms that I am unfamiliar with. Ive figured some of it out, but maybe there is a legend somewhere? TBM = True Believing Mormon DH = Dear Husband (maybe?) moridor = I assume this is meant to reference Salt Lake or Utah n/t = I h

My dad is a bishop, it does take a lot of his time. Parents are empty nesters, but its not uncommon to visit now and have him away at some sort of function or meeting of some sort. Its rather rare for us to be over there and not have him at least get some sort of phone call, usually when we have all sat down to eat.
