Many who knew him said old Sid was never quite the same in his ganectizoid after being dragged by a horse. He had a brilliant albiet twisted mind but he lacked the needed charisma. Then he met up with Holy Joe in Kirtland who incidentally claimed they were total strangers. There is strong evidence that they had known each other quite well since at least 1827.

One of Connery's best. It is said that the two Brits had a riot filming Huston's masterpiece. Thing was Cain's cockney accent which is inherently comical to the Scots. There were actually serial retakes throughout because Connery couldn't keep a straight face whenever Cain would deliver his lines. A must see for the Masonic lore alone.

Well I've heard the prayer recited using three differing expressions, ie. 'forgive us our sins' or 'our debts' or 'our transgressions' none of which are true synonyms of each other.

I was one of the fortunate students who saw presidential candidate Robert Kennedy speak inside a packed Smith Field House one bright day in April 1968. I like to believe that I was prompted by the spirit to cut classes that day that I might bear witness the charismatic senator. I then flew off to work for the summer in Alaska not knowing what sad news was waiting for me and our nation when

To bring things back a bit more on topic, who could ever forget young Elder Danny Ainge's rookie baseball card all suited up as a Blue Jay? Evidently Toronto never grew to love him so he took his outsized ego and moved on to seek glory in another sport.

Kubric's career was one of high strangeness matched by few other film makers. Dr Strangelove was scheduled to be released on Nov 22 1963 but was postponed until the following January. Strange.

It occurs to me smirk that newbies might wonder at your spelling of tscc's once proud name with that lower case m in the middle. But I gotta say I have never had a problem with it, I get it. And btw, don't ever change. :o)

God must have told Rusty not to bother saving Gordo as John D Lee had waited long enough to set him straight on a few details which the Hickster had so clumsily attempted to re-bury.

Everybody loves a lover. That song is one of the first pop tunes burned into my brain's audio files at age 4. Listening to it now carries me back to when I first heard it on the good old family Philco. Thanks for the memories Doris. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FOTzC-0xg0

I would hasten add another name to the list of non mission serving slackers, that of Gordon B Hinckley. I happen to have a warm place in my heart for the little weasel who inadvertently assured my own place on the list of shirkers.
