When it's well known that god is in charge, a human signature is to distracting! Also, anyone know the penalty for having your "barking dog" ring tone go off in the CK room? And how much more grievous is the penalty if you answer while posing in front of the infinity mirrors?

Missionaries' expenses will be paid for by the church. And the kids will get to pick their missions, which means that a lot of missions will be closing, but the lord's will be done. The closing of the Utah missions will be met with glee!

Reading the comments was very difficult. The obvious missing comment stream: "Run, Charlie! Run fast and run far!"

What I got out of this is that you raised yourself to be mormon, but now you know better. But you can't go back and raise yourself some other way, you can't change your upbringing. Which creates conflict, because how you raised yourself is no longer who you are. But you'll find out, sooner hopefully than later who you really are. Might as well enjoy the ride by keeping a good attitude

I think it is implicit that the cloning question is based on, from the mormon perspective, would Jesus put a spirit into the clone, and when would happen... Anyone know what the church teaches regarding this issue?

I read that when Moss was released, confirming vote was requested to sustain the motion. His A2 counselors that were then released and the congregation was asked to give them a show of appreciation at by raising the arm for the square. The old first counselor became the new bishop and the old second counselor became the new first counselor. These two men then spoke and then the very somber, al

Used to be that mormons where in the world, but not of the world. C'mon now, that's a pretty special thingy! And every member was a missionary! We were a standard unto the world! It was so special to turn down offers to partake in any of the vices by announcing, "Oh, not me; I'm mormon!"

Wait until Mormon manager tries to save his staff from the tragedy of working on the sabbath day! I wonder if it would be viewed with annoyance by Corporate Headquarters that the bishop-manager has placed a higher loyalty to another corporation?

Google News knows I'm 'interested' in BYU sports, so this morning Google offered me the opportunity to read a Deseret News article about what a great chance the lord's basketball team hand to make the March Madness playoffs by beating Gonzaga this evening. the DN writer admitted ed that the chances weren't good, but with a little hustle, and their inate talents, they could do it!! They did

138. Re: Music
Whenever I hear a great song on the radio, I say, "Goddammit, that was a great song!" And I mean it!! Has anyone ever loved, and been uplifted by a song whose lyrics are sad? I suppose it means that I'm hearing the music but not the words. Also there are events in my life tied to songs, and when they repeat, the event triggers the song, and the song triggers the memory of the ev

I sincerely believed that taking the lord's name in vain would count against me in the final judgment. So from Primary until 2013, when I moved in with my honey buckets of oats, I never said "goddammit." Now, 6 full years later, it's where's the goddam remote... I gotta take a goddam piss... And so on. If they read all the charges at my final judgment, we're gonna be a while.

I have a photo of me standing on a plaster at the edge of the roof of a multi-story building taken by my senior companion. Kids will be kids anroof tops always beckon. Personally I'd be very surprised if it were suicide. Another mishie died back in late November, Zane Lamping, of Moapa, NV. He was at the MTC in South Africa and collapsed while exercising and never regained consciousness.

Counselor, a curiosity question: Is the reverse true? If one were to get the point across that one 'knew' that cops always lie, would dismissal be as automatic as in your example?
