I have this obsession with watching horrible movies. Deadly Prey is probably my favorite (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-8FJ5D7UEo)

I'm also tentatively planning a Davis/Weber county exmo bad movie night the first weekend in October.

I have a group of friends that gets together for bad movies every so often: Manos Hands of Fate and Surf Nazis must Die were especially horrible.

I like them enough to run a virtual MST3K movie theater in Second Life. Still gotta see SharkNado.

After a few drinks, I'm sure any bad movie would have the potential to become pretty awesome!

Having enough free time to enjoy a really bad movie is one of the truly great pleasures of life.

How about:

Lake Placid
The Alligator People
The Head that Wouldn't Die
Caveman (Ringo Starr and Shelly Long)

and many more!

I didn't know why Adult Swim was showing that horribly monstrosity of a film. Then I looked it up, realized it was April Fools Day and had a good chuckle.

Some bad movies I love:
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Showgirls
Earth Girls are Easy

I love to watch Soylent Green.

IMO it's one of the worst. That Charlton Heston was a horrendous actor.

Master Thespian Heston was especially bad in the classically awful "EARTHQUAKE".

Special shout out to William Castle and the Syfy channel!

I guess we're all fans of bad movies, we've all sat through the temple movie at least a dozen times right?

I've yet to try watching a really bad movie while drinking, so that might add another layer of goodness to the experience.

The Magic Christian with Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr.

Hands down, the worst film I have ever seen. I even put this in a category of bad movies that is separate from hating but enjoying a bad movie. I didn't even enjoy watching it. I guess I didn't expect it to be bad. Ringo Starr, Peter Sellers, John Cleese, Graham Chapman, and a cameo by Roman Polanski. Five guys who should have known better.

Give me "Mommie Dearest" any day: "N-O-O-O M-O-O-R-R-E W-I-I-R-R-E HANGERS-S-S, CHRISTINA-AH-AH-AH-AHH!" Thank you Faye!

And "Plan 9 from Outer Space," which actually inspired a gem of a movie decades later: "Ed Wood" by Tim Burton.

:)

Speaking of bad movies, has anyone seen Drive Angry? It is so stupid it's actually quite funny and entertaining. I honestly can't tell if Nicholas Cage is making fun of himself or if he is genuinely trying to act.

I haven't, but I love a bad nicholas cage movie! I still need to see Ghost Rider 2, the one where he pisses fire and pukes fire.

I guess it depends on what you mean by bad movies. I get a kick out of watching awful disaster movies like "Independence Day," "The Day After Tomorrow," and "I Am Legend." It's not really a bad movie to me unless it's trying to be an A movie and is unintentionally hilarious. A B movie that is deliberately campy doesn't do much for me. Although, "Manos: Hands of Fate" is a classic.

The greatest bad movie ever made is "The Conquerers" with John Wayne as Genghis Khan.

Yes, can you in imagine Wayne with slant eyes as a Mongolian? Throw in realy bad dialog and you'll be in stiches, if you can watch it that long.
