He's Home!!!!!

Better than a missionary reunion - second son arrived safely in Maryland today, having completed his fourth (!) Air Force deployment.

He is happily reunited with his wife and son, they are riding out the latest storm(s) at an airport hotel.

Thanks for reading - we are so glad he is back with his family!!!!

Thanks for adding all your warm wishes it is so much fun to run out into the cyber street with good news and have the cyber neighbors smile and cheer.

Second son and third son have sometimes lurked here to see what their mom is saying about them now. They have taken to signing off on notes to me with "second son" or "third son" instead of their names. Oldest and youngest do not. Hmmm - a birth order thing?

Woo hoo! Now, if we can just get my son home from Okinawa (Army). He's had two consecutive Iraq tours and now is in Okinawa. He needs to get home. His daughter is now 2 and I think he's seen her a grand total of 30 days or so.

... "Mission Accomplished" ... and my oldest son, a Marine, got to come home before the real atrocities of the war even got started. Thank Gawd (if he/she even existed).

My son spent the rest of his time in the military in sunny California.

Glad to hear your boy is home and hope there isn't a fifth visit to Bushies little legacy.
