Church employee and tithes

Does anyone have a story or information about church employees (BYU, BYUI, BYUH etc.) losing jobs because they lost the temple recommend. If you don't pay up, no recommend, and no recommend = no job.


I also hear the morg is cracking down on the electronic payments to the church and bishops can now request an itemized record - not just a yes or no statement.

I'm guessing there are lots of people suckling the tit, but hating the taste. The only thing they can do is continue the charade until their situation changes.

Any advice is welcome.
