He tries to use an analogy of a cat on how you can't vote to decide the gender of the cat, so you can't vote if homosexuality is moral or not.

Guess what, Mr. Packer? That is a horrible analogy and destroys your position.

A better analogy is that just like a cat can't decide its gender, it is just born that way, many people also can't decide their sexual orientation, they are just born that way.

His own example rips his own position to shreds.

not all living organisms have a gender. Some animals spontaneously switch genders. Some enivronmental pollutants can change the gender of some amphibians. Similarly the mating behaviors that are observed in nature vary widely. Even in humans there are cases where a person is neither xx or xy. When you start looking at reality the truth is more complex than the simple model the church tries to use. But then what is the gospel but a response to mankinds desire for simple neat solutions.
