I wish I had not been so valiant in the pre-existence. I would not have been saved for these last days.

It's too stressful living in the last days.

Equal rights...

Birth control, Ho Chi Minh, Richard Nixon back again
Moonshot, Woodstock, Watergate, punk rock
Begin, Reagan, Palestine, Terror on the airline
Ayatollah's in Iran, Russians in Afghanistan
Wheel of Fortune, Sally Ride, heavy metal, suicide
Foreign debts, homeless Vets, AIDS, Crack, Bernie Goetz
Hypodermics on the shore, China's under martial law
Rock and Roll, cola wars, I can't take it anymore

We didn't start the fire

I so agree. It is a brilliant song and I love the line "We didn't start the fire It was always burning Since the world's been turning."

Thanks for sharing. And what a silly idea it is for me to think I was chosen to come to this life now because of my super amazing valiant behavior way back when. They sure goofed thinking that was ever a possibility.
