Wonder what the climatological fad will be in 30 years time?
these posts crack me up when people say that snow and ice and extreme weather are signs of a warming planet. these tools that continue to preach this global warming.....er.....i mean.....climate change......are ingenious, though. If the earth warms, humans caused the warming, but if it cools and freezes over, again, humans caused the earth to warm. It is nothing but a sham which the scientific community continues to perpetuate because if they didn't, they would be standing in the unemployment line. Their funding relies on a crisis at hand that has to be "studied" and fixed.
we've been through Global Cooling, Global Warming, O-zone, and now "climate change". what is the next crisis when in 15yrs we are all still scratching our heads wondering why the sea hasn't risen like the wackos have been predicting for years? if I could figure it out ahead of time, I will capitalize on it. :)
This is the second year in a row that the polar weather barrier has been breached. This means that polar air is pushed down further south in some regions, and warmer air is pused further north in some regions. I think that from what I've read, two years in a row is really rare. If this happens next year as well, it looks like we have a new trend in North America.
The reason for this barrier change could be due to global warming. Climatologists are afraid to say that word anymore because of the ignoramuses who think that global warming means everywhere is warmer every year.
We didn't go through "O-zone", we actually came together as a planet and slowed the ozone depletion. After 25 years, the ozone layer is finally not degrading anymore. Ask the people in Southern Australia and New Zealand about their skin cancer rates if you don't "believe" in ozone depletion.

It's call the global carbon tax mandate. Remember 10 years ago they were telling us snow would become a rarity? It's like the LDS Church. Follow the money and it will lead you to the man behind the curtain.

Oh, dear! Surely it isn't all about... money?! ;oD
The problem is that there are some people set to make money out of global warming that they have a vested interest in the problem (should it exist) NOT being fixed!
While southern parts of the US are coping with unaccustomed amounts of snow, places like Nunavut and Iceland are getting far less than is normal for them. Climate change--and global warming in particular--is real.
... its commonly referred to as "Global Warming" which gives folks who can't see beyond their tiny little world the impression that abnormal winters in my neck 'o' the woods indicate otherwise.
Global Climate Change is the more appropriate term in that it tends to explain why we're experiencing abnormal winters in my neck 'o' the woods.

Actually, that sounds like climate shifting, with weather patterns moving from area to area. Like when the rains moved away from an area that then became a desert, for example?
