LOL Cludgie!
And Pathfinder, I bet we know each other. Are we allowed to put email addresses on here? If so, I could give you my address if you want.

I just wanted to complain that your big palmetto bugs keep crossing the border into our state and sometimes end up in my home. Is there anything that you can do about that? You are the Palmetto State. Please do something! Can you turn to your congressman?

PS: I would be remiss not to add that sometimes my cat will take care of the matter for me. Unfortunately, he sometimes leaves the wings and legs behind.

The best thing to get the Palmetto bugs is this stuff they used to get out of a mine with a 20-mule team in some podunk California desert place.

I sprinkled borax around all the places they might come in and where they hide and I didn't have any palmetto bugs for about 3 years. Course, you wouldn't want the kitties to touch it, and I couldn't put it down when I had a baby crawling who could touch it, but when it was just me and the bugs it worked great.

LOL

It's called The Palmetto State because of the tree, not the bugs. Ever notice that little palm tree on the SC flag? That's a palmetto tree.

Also, Borax works great keeping the critters away. Works to keep fleas down too! I swear by it. Way cheaper than calling an exterminator.

Aquarius123.

I don't know if we can. we may know each other. I went there for a short time back in 09 before I moved back to OR. grad from Airport in 81.

I've read before on here where one can contact someone who works with this site and they can do an email exchange. Not sure who though.

Yes, the fire ants are a killer there. Don't miss them at all or the humidity.

Y'all need to tighten up with your border patrol. Do it now, because I heard through the grapevine that fire ants are headed your way.

Yep, my sociopath cat takes care of bugs, also. She says, "Nice legs you got there, Mr. Bug...be a shame if something happened to one of them."

I'm a USC grad and Gamecocks fan, but if they continue to play like they did last weekend, I'm threatening to disown them...Chiffon fingers during the whole game.

That's what the "usc" at the end of my moniker is for... I went to USC for grad school from 99-02, during the Lou Holz years. Not that I follow football or anything. He spoke at my graduation.

For rude! (Utah expression) We're not supposed to use the word "cocks" here.

Hey, this is an inclusive board. Some people like the cocks, and who are we to judge them for it? ;)

I am from the Greenville area. Would love to meet you guys sometime. Lots of great new restaurants in Greenville. Really a happening place. In the summer there are outdoor summer concerts (very hip)right on the banks of the Reedy River.
