I have 5 volumes of M S from 1902 to 1914. They were clumsily bound by my crippled late uncle into 2 yrs per volume. Are they worth anything to Mormons (or non) or should I just give them away. The content is so boring I know I'll never read them. I loved my uncle and respect the work he did, but I need to start weeding my library.

I don't want to mess with EBay, unless they're worth a lot. But what I found there varied from $5 to $1750. Too confusing for me.

Any thoughts what I should do with these?

Try Weller Books or Ken Sanders Rare Books both in Salt Lake City. Both would be familiar with what you have.

Check Abe Books and Harvest Books, for pricing info and info about condition, as well. Both have vintage and historical divisions, which buy books to source libraries, museum and private collections and they also sell to collectors and the general public:
