I am facing this also with my 77 yr old TBM mother. Hopefully you were able to have some reconciliation beyond issues of belief with her. Here's also hoping your funeral experience is not too difficult. <<hugs>>

According to my tbm dad she died of afib. It's like a heart attack. Tommorow we are going to the funeral home to figure stuff out.
To make matters even worse, my tbm mom put my Bassett hound to sleep last month. It was because she was vicious towards the other dogs. One of my tbm mom's last humanitarian acts was that she saved a Chihuahua terrier we named him poncho villa. Right now poncho is laying down besides me.
So in reality I've been dealt a double whammy right now.
I am sending ((hugs)) and good thoughts to help you get thru the trying days. It is especially hard with the holidays so close. Be sure and post here and let us know how you are doing. You are not alone.
Deepest sympathy. My own mom passed on August 14, so I am deep in grief's grip as well. Be kind to yourself and know that we are here to listen whenever you may need or want to talk.
I'm so sorry. A sudden loss leaves you in shock. I noticed you haven't post and a couple of weeks. Please seek emotional support from where ever you can and here on RFM.
I hope your Dad can cope well with this tragic loss too, SII. He will be extra stressed now, as well as you and your family. I hope you can be a comfort to your Dad too.

What a double whammy. You lost your precious sophie. I'm crying tears for you. I will think of you in my prayers. I'm hurting for you. I don't know your real name, but I hope your TBM dad won't flip out with all of the 10 kids. I hope nothing else goes wrong. May your precious poncho be by your side. Bless you!
Thinking about you and the double loss and the difficult days ahead. I've been to that funeral home to plan a funeral too many times in the last three years. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

It's already turning our lives upside down from work,shopping etc.
Oh goodness me - I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose people, especially those closest to us. You will get through this and I wish you and your family peace at this sad time.
I sorry about your mothers passing. My mother passed away 16 months ago & I miss her so much. It's very difficult but it'll eventually get better with time. You'll have good days with the bad. Just stay positive.
