I'm thankful for: research, knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the ability to finally realize TSCC wasn't true after all; being able to make my own life choices instead of having them dictated to me; the time that I can now use as I see fit; the money that I can now use to benefit my own family or donate to charities that really help the poor; and, perhaps most of all, escape from that judgmental, toxic, game-playing environment that is cultural Mormonism.
I'm thankful for my jobs and the ability I have to take care of my family's needs. I'm thankful we're sheltered, clothed, and fed, and all in good health.
I'm very thankful for this board, too, and for the collective and individual knowledge, wisdom, advice, discussion, support, and sharing that happens here. It's the one place I can say what I'm really thinking and feeling -- the one place I have a voice.
