I thought I had read everything when it concerns the school shootings. Perhaps I read it wrong, but it seems that Karl Pierson's father is blaming the shooting on the school and the targeted teacher because they disciplined him incorrectly.

I know in grief you can say or do outrageous things, but this is a first. Most parents of the shooters show remorse and concern. Although the parents, Barbara and Mark Pierson did make a statement like that, the father then attacked everyone else for his son's actions.

This action made me think, why didn't the son act like that. If the role model his had was a father that did not accept responsibility, did not accept discipline, and had a my way or no way attitude, then what would the child embrace.

The whole situation is so sad for all, but why attack victims publically on the front page of the Denver Post?
