Any other very white exmo people notice they tan easier since leaving the church? Re-vitiligo?
Also, I suspect Uncle Ruckus from Boondocks is an exmo.

Me, too. 60 next month. Really, really bad sun damage.

But what a gorgeous tan I had in my 20s and 30s............

While clothing does block the sun's harmful rays, they don't always do so completely. This is especially true of thinner material, or material that is lighter color. If you walk around in a white t-shirt, with no undershirt, and the sun is blazing enough, you will get a slight tan. If you wear an undershirt, even if it is a thin white one, this effect will be reduced.

T-shirts provide approximately 6 SPF. That's almost the same as just walking around shirtless.

I'm a naturally tan blonde so I don't have to go to the tanning salon. A hundred or so years ago no lady would be caught dead with tanned skin. Having a pale-as-death alabaster complexion was regarded as the epitome of femininity. Darker skinned women are now making themselves lighter and fair skinned women are making themselves darker. Eventually everyone will be the same dark tan colour.

The "Book Of Mormon" authors never imagined a future where being tanned is a sign of health, wealth, and status -- and not evil.
