Pope Francis calls the internet a 'gift from God'

He said communications in the digital era had the potential to be like “a balm which relieves pain and a fine wine which gladdens hearts.”

Pope Francis also suggested that Catholics shouldn’t be arrogant in insisting that they alone possess the truth, a comment likely to cause controversy among the more conservative members of the church.

The top 15 must really hate Francis.

I am starting to like the guy and I am an atheist.

Francis is a rock star to a lot of the world.

Hopefully he will live long enough to use his power and the enormous resources of the Catholic church to really help a lot of people that desperately need it.

The Catholic church owes the world a lot. They have done some terrible, terrible things. I hope that this new leadership will act accordingly.

I'm an atheist and I freaking love this pope. He is really all about the Jesus. He's right up there with my other favorite christian Jimmy Carter. They both are really about the christian basics; help those in need, love and respect all. Superstars!

What a hoot, so we have the whore of Babylon leading its flock toward enlightenment whilst SLC desperately ties to lead their flock away from it. Pinch me, I'm dreaming.

Not to mention, the Vatican is way ahead of Tommy inc with their alien/ufo recognition/hedge.
