Recovery from Mormonism (RfM) discussion forum.
To the Exmormon Community:
As a lot of you know, the Exmormon Foundation is the managing entity for the annual Exmormon Foundation Conferences. They continue to be well-attended, and we receive many thanks every year for continuing to sponsor them. The videos of the Conference talks are viewed by hundreds of people. All of this is a joint effort of all the Board.
The Foundation also uses whatever extra money we have after the Conference and other organizational expenses to sponsor and help pay for other projects which are of benefit to the whole Exmormon community,.&nbs p; We produced one DVD, "Line Upon Line", and we were actively and financially involved in getting "In the Shadow of the Temple" produced. We also contribute to other web sites and projects as we can. But some of us have served a long, long time and getting very burned out. We need others to take their place.
We will be announcing nominations soon, and there is a GREAT need at this time for some other "worker-bees" in our community to come forward and nominate themselves for the Board. We need new DNA!! :-) It is not a huge time-consumer, but we need an official Board in order to maintain our status as a non-profit organization. Please consider jumping aboard, because the Conferences cannot continue without new help. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO WRITE TO THE BOARD WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT SERVING.
