For anyone interested, Tom Phillips and I are going to be discussing his recent legal action toward LDS Church President Thomas Monson live on the Drew Marshall radio show this Saturday, at High Noon, Pacific Coast Time (3 PM Eastern time). The show is also broadcast live online, so anyone interested can listen through the website: http://drewmarshall.ca/ .

Whatever happens in the future with this legal action, Tom has already made international waves. I'm eager to ask him about it, as is Drew.

Be sure and point out how the Canadian law designed to aid third world schools is being abused by LDS Inc to siphon a hundred million tithing dollars out of Canada each year tax free, under the guise of "supporting" BYU.

I keep hoping some MP will wake up to that scam and put a restriction on that loophole to return it to its original intent.

There are people who complain about the church. And there are people who complain about those who try to do something about it. I get tired of the (few) on RFM who complain of the futility of those working against the cult.

Thanks for actually doing something instead of just complaining about TSCC. I will be listening and hoping and supporting.

When you speak out against injustice, even if only to one person, you are doing something.

Remember Margaret Mead's famous quote:

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

Exmormons are speaking out in the form of comedy, politics, radio and TV. We are on the internet, we are on the street picketing.

We are complaining EVERYWHERE and it is having an effect.

We are that small group now being swelled as many stand with us against Mormon exploitation of American religious freedom.

After taking a quick peak at Drew's website, I'm wondering if you're taking Tom to appear on a freak show. I assume Tom looked at Drew's background. But is Drew capable of interviewing a non-believer?

I guess Drew doesn't strike me as much of a journalist. But I could be wrong.

I'm confident if Tal is there the "right" questions will be asked...and answered.

I'll give it a listen. I usually avoid "spiritual" broadcasting like the plague but this deserves a listen, hopefully.

Tom Phillips and I already appeared once on The Drew Marshall Show. It is broadcast on a Christian station, but Drew himself has gone from being evangelical Christian to non-believer over the past few years.

I know I'll be tuned in and sharing it with everyone I can. I hope there web site doesn't crash during the broadcast. :)

Could these various interviews possibly weaken T.P.s chance of winning the suit? Might it possibly give an edge to the Morg's defense? Sometimes, the less said the better works best at a certain point.

Just read Drew Marshall's wiki page. I grew up going to Hume Lake, the camp he worked at for 4 years. What a small world. That was a super fun Christian camp. Nothing could beat it. Games, canoeing, capture the flag, super cute surfer boys, cabins, that was good times there.
