Leaving Christianity Behind

So.

I reached a significant place in my life recently. I have spent the last 50 years trying to please the Judeo-Christian God (or in Mormonism - Gods), and I am admitting defeat. I can't go on in this vein any more.

It feels...liberating. I don't have to accept it - or any of it - any more.

Moving on toward neo-Paganism, which is more accepting and allows me to feel in touch with the Earth.

Whew!

Welcome to the world of neo-Paganism. I find more spiritual fulfillment and pure happiness in one devotional ritual than I felt in my few years in the LDS combined.

I agree, and I thank you for that recommendation. I am a member of ADF, and the leader of the local ADF grove here in Atlanta.
