No flights from SLC to Logan exist other than the standard airline traffic.

Not necessarily. They might have him on ice there somewhere just in case the court threatens action if he did not appear. He is an elderly man and they may paint that he can't sit through but he is prepared to live up to the 12th article of faith and come if it is absolutely required. Three hours from now this may be going forward. No one knows at this point.
