Help-Need Hyrum Smith Objective Info...

Does anyone know any source for objective info on Hyrum Smith? All I can find is syruppy "he loved Joseph so dearly and was a witness of his prophetic call" stuff.

Any insights would be very helpful

William Law provides some insight on Hyrum in his Dr. Wyl interview (I would post it but am traveling). He did not think much of Hyrum.
