Exactly. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out he was a self-hating gay man. People who are obsessed with homosexuality are obsessed for a reason.

Some people are just hate filled ignorant jerks. There is a weird tendency to say that anyone who is homophobic or anti-homosexual MUST be a closeted gay. This is simply not true, there are some, sure, but it is probably not always the case. It really doesn't help anything to say it.
As much as I disliked the guy, he, and the WBC probably did way more to galvanize support for gay rights and discredit the anti-gay religious nuts than any other group their size on any side of the issue.

He had a lot of bad karma built up. If you believe that what comes around goes around, then he got what he deserved. OK maybe karma is not the best word, but what comes around does go around and he was filled with so much hate. The word needed less hate so he was taken out. NO LOSS!
After reading the HuffPost piece, I have to say that the karma came quite fast for him didn't it? But why have his mother gay? Why not have him gay instead? Then he can hate himself through eternity. I thought only TBMs did these rituals on dead people. This is like dead dunking without the water. Interesting.
