In October, I put out a paper showing that Monson had not borne testimony of any of Mormonism's core unique claims in General Conference the last 8 years. FAIR recently responded to it in a long article that quotes about four dozen *statements about* the Restoration from Monson. That these statements are not testimonies of said claims is easily seen in the way that multiple church manuals define the term “testimony” and in the way that most members define it. Moreover, it can be shown *empirically* that there is a phenomenon here that needs explaining. See:
