I think men can be called to it as well but it's no common. Someone posted here the other day that their Stake Pres was called to serve in the nursery (ha on him!)

It's the worst when you're already a stay at home mom with little ones. Like I'd want to spend two hours on Sunday watching the entire wards babies too!????!? I'm already a drooling incoherent mass of flesh myself at that point and am in dire need of adult conversation. Sheesh!

I feel sorry for the guy that has to schedule building cleaners. I bet no one wants to take his calls.

I'd have to say bishop. It takes a ton of time, you get criticized constantly, and every ward has a couple members that expect the bishop to do everything for them. I've been in a couple bishoprics, and the bishop job seemed terrible. As a tbm, I would have taken any calling in the ward over bishop. The first time I was in a bishoric, the bishop told me he had been prompted by the spirit to say that I would be a bishop, and I was not happy about that at all.
