I'd settle for one lousy gold coin, say perhaps a shum.

But then I'd have to go back to church.

:(

What would be worse than some minor proof the myths of the BOM had some truth in them?

If liar Smith has left out the gold/silver, large buildings and said there were other people in the land. We would be hosed. It is a good thing smith loved to lie.

We all missed a bullet there.

A Tapir with a saddle on it would be good.

My electronic perusals of plowed lands in Italy often turned up stacks of fused silver-clad coins mostly of the denarius variety.

When construction work is mounted all over Europe, the diggers pull up jars of Roman coins, likely buried by soldiers on a mission with hopes of future retrieval
(no banks in the goodle days.)

Will some mopologist pls give us an explanation of why no hordes or even a single issue of Alma's famous coinage have ever been dug.

Hopefully, their explications will be more convincing than the tapirs for horses one.
