What is the logic behind the bible supporting cousins being OK to have love relationships as in romance? Does the bible contradict itself on this subject?
Not only do cousins marry, but Abraham marries his half sister Sarah.
European royalty married their cousins all the time. The important thing was that royalty marry royalty. Commoners would not do. Aristocrats would not do. It had to be royalty which means there was almost certainly some degree of kinship. THe current monarch of England and her husband are both descedants of Queen Victoria.
If you are looking for logical behavior do not look in the Bible.
Don't quote me but I think it goes back to the Egyptians and the pharaoh's being gods. If they were a god then they could only marry someone godly like them - a family member; sister, half-sister, cousin.
The Bible contradicts itself in many place. The reason for that is that the Bible is not one book, but a collection of books written over several centuries, describing religious attitudes at widely different times.
It doesn't contradict itself on this matter. It doesn't say anything against marrying cousins. They did it and nothing's said one way or another about it. Matter of fact, I can tell you it's still a common practice in the Middle East.

Now I know why they have so many crazy suicide bombers.
