Eric is clearly the General, Susan I/S is the Brigadier, so what title do YOU want? Doesn't have to be English.

As it's Saint David's Day, I'll take the title Commander Matt, or, in Welsh, Rheolwr Matt!

Come on folks, pick your cool titles! General Smith and Captain Moroni would be proud of you! ;oD

Just call me the God Lostinutah.

(So there, Raptor J.)

And since I'm a God, I don't have to follow directions and be all military, Gods are inherently militant, right?

I've already been given this rank by a long-time friend:

Commander Rutabaga reporting for duty.

I like it, but who do commanders report for duty to? Themselves?

In the Navy, a commander is in the middle of totem pole.

I'd love to be Captain Makuroni. Besides, I'm having Italian food tonight. :)

Maybe we could all turn it into a game of "Clue"? Hmm, I saw Col Squishy in the ballroom with Captain Moroni planning the assasination of Commander Rutabaga with a candlestick! haha!

In honor of my former religion, I'll be an ENSIGN!!

Looks like most of you will be bossing me around. My wife will be jealous.

As I don't answer on every thread, I never give orders, but offer advice, I also sometimes love to observe each of the answers,

Hence, I think I should be a "Private" in the Observer Corps.

...but seriously folks,
Even as a TBM the integral militancy of LDS scriptures, hymns, and history bothered me.

"the wicked who fight against Zion shall surely be smitten..."
"every stroke disarms a foeman, every step we conquering go"

just of the top of my head. It goes on and on.

TBMs don't acknowledge that a big share of their beloved persecution was triggered by their own militant ways.
