For those of you who have been around a while I thought ya'll might be interested to hear that twojedis and bc are about to be sorta related via marriage. (I am engaged to twojedis sister-in-law.) I met her via twojedis so this board is indirectly responsible.

I guess it really doesn't really matter if you guys love each other, need happiness, or anything else silly like that. What's important is that you guys get married in the temple, obey all the rules, clean the toilets, pay 10% gross, attend mind-numbing meetings ad nauseum, and remember to endure endure endure to the bitter end. I say this because the fundamental purpose of marriage it to make the church's balance sheet much stronger. Why? Well that's just not an approved question and Mormons never ask "Why" ;)

This thread is still open, so I can answer some questions:

We've been dating for a little over 3 months and have known each other for 6 - so it went quite quickly - almost BYU style :) She is a very sweet, kind person who also has some spunk and a great sense of humor. She was raised Catholic, converted to Mormonism after marrying her ex husband, was never all in, decided she definitely doesn't believe last fall, and is planning to resign this summer. Her oldest daughter is TBM, the younger kids are all completely out.

2jedis & sithlord are doing well. They just got back from a cruise to HI and they have reconciled with their TBM son who was being awful last year.
