How does the mormon church really feel about polygamy these days?

they embrace it... that's what the Temple is for...

when it was outlawed in 1890 they just moved it into there double super secret practice in the temples.

It's alive and well ... read D and C 132 and tell me it's not .

Once you control; a person's intimacy and sex life they will give you all their time and money.

I think they are scared to death of it.

They are spending all sorts of energy promoting one man one wife.

If it became legal and they adopted it again they would lose a significant chunk of membership and tithing.

Women especially would flee. Polygamy just isn't compatible with freedom and equality.

But they never say "one" wife, just "a" wife.

My TB, BIC Ex-wife was/is so indoctrinated in the church, that she expected polygamy to be reinstated, and she wrapped her head completely around it. During our engagement, she had told me that - if she had to have a sister wife - she decided that a particular acquaintance of ours would be a good choice.
