I had a Kokanee beer this afternoon at a cowboy funeral gathering. And gonna be enjoying a few Blue Moon Belgian White ales with my son tomorrow night at my nephew's 25th anniversary.

It isn't easy to find in Utah either. I usually stock up on it when in Las Vegas.

Sounds good, Ron!

This evening I had an early pint of Guinness, as recommended by my wife for it's medicinal benefit, the complex sugars, iron and minerals make it an ideal fix for dehydration.

I have just had a small Singleton Tailfire single malt, which is a very smooth sweet Scotch indeed!

Blue Moon is an excellent ale.

I have something special too. A fifth of Bulleit, one of the finest bourbons. I'm sipping an oz. of it right now.

Beer is going through a serious renaissance. I don't drink it now, because the high yeast content makes my gout flare, but I was exposed to finer beers while in the service in Germany.

I remember when Miller beer ran a campaign against microbrews. Stop treating beer like wine, they whined.

I liked beer better than wine, and I preferred better beer. The varieties of beers available today stagger the mind. You can get an odd size bottle of beer brewed by European Trappist monks or North CA coast hippies or an "oil can" from down under. Beer is sacred to human beings.

not much Bourbon drinking up here in Canada....we're into our rye whiskey, but I've always wanted to try one of the single cask, or other high end bourbons....

A bottle of prosecco to accompany a homemade Italian dinner.

I do like my Blue Moon the rest of the week, though.

We're enjoying a very nice 2007 Barbarbero from Italy. In fact, it's fantastic!

At $60.00 a bottle it should be!
