...well, she SAID she has only been on the job for 6 months. So, technically, maybe she's still on probation. Maybe the Church will dump her for non-performance..........

So why did they send her as a spokesperson then? It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that she is the only woman they could hastily scrounge!!
I love it when he asked her if Elder Ballard went to Virginia on June 2 and her response was "uh, I don't know." So you aren't up to speed on current events surrounding this action? Why did you agree to this interview if you are so ill-prepared? I mean, it almost sounds as if your only preparation was a set of talking points about how excommunication is actually a positive thing.
What's the point of maintaining this plausibile deniability about a purge if you believe all leaders, local and general, are being inspired by the same deity?
And not one of the 15 miserable cowards that inhabit temple square are willing to appear and answer for the church. Not one of them willing to stand up and be valiant in their testimonies of Jesus. Pharisaaic lying cowardly bastar-- each and every one of them.
What is this mormon woman doing out of the kitchen??!
She should have been home changing diapers and let a priesthood holder explain this to the public!
Some grandfatherly high priest with a law degree and a Cache Valley accent going into the 'aw shucks' routine would be much better management of this situation.
What struck me when I listened to it was her wrapping so much of her rhetoric in the "Savior" as if Jesus were personally directing what the morg is doing. Case closed. How do you argue with that? I think she was preaching to the choir, not answering pertinent questions (until cornered).
It was a rather predictable argument. For TBM's she hit upon all the major points she needed to and she then pulled it back into the old personal spiritual test- if you have a problem with your faith, that's between you and God so shhhh.
From the logical standpoint of a nevermo, I was giggling at the lack of providing answers.
I also find it interesting on how each podcaster announces Dehlin. Is it surprising to anyone else that when introducing Dehlin they just say he talks about troubles in church history? It is almost like there is a reverence from the masses to not bring up the truth. Or am I exaggerating here?
