Everyone that can is getting out. Nations and companies are removing all their people, and recommending that all leave who can.

Any news on the LDSInc. plans to remove the mishies?

Missionaries in the two missions in the area affected by the earthquake and nuclear reactors were reassigned to other missions in other parts of Japan.

A former mission companion, who is a friend of mine on FB, posted a link to the current Kobe Mission President's blog. 42 of the missionaries from the Tokyo mission just arrived in Kobe and are being reassigned there.

Thanks for that, Scott T.

I don't take much comfort in this tho, as a few wind direction changes can fry the whole of Honshu very quickly.

Many missionaries who are within 6 weeks of coming home anyway are leaving now. Part of the mission consolidation.

good news, thanks Stunted. They'd be sick to replace them until and if this catastrophe is abated.
