50 year old goes head to head with the missionaries

Not really.

I just ignore them when they ring the bell or call.

Eventually, they wise up.

One time two mishies came to my door. I said that I was really interested in the life of Joseph Smith, and did they know where he was born? They looked at each other and shrugged. I asked them why would they devote their lives to someone they knew nothing about?

A week later, there was a knock at my door. The same two mishies were there with an older fellow who was also dressed in a business suit. "Sharon, Vermont, 1805," I said, before slamming the door.
