Especially for Mormons

Does anyone remember the Especially for Mormons series? It seemed every church meeting featured a gem from this powerful series. Any memories of the stories? The Boner.

When I was growing up, my mom actually forbade to use that particular resource. A lot of youth gave their talks just by reading stories out of Especially for Mormons. She made us write them out, too.

It's been too long since I suffered through Mormon meetings. The only ones I've been to have been for funerals. Those are bad enough.

I remember them. I remember that the were full of sentimental inanity. Maybe that's why they were especially for Mormons.

Seriously. I kept hoping for something more out of my religion, something mature and deep. It never happened. That's why I don't Follow the Prophet any more.
