Suppose you were born and raised in the Sudan. Suppose at age
25 you are picked up and transplanted right into Denmark. You
wouldn't know the language, the customs, you wouldn't have a
place to stay, and no job.
In that situation you'd be DYING to go back to the Sudan.
Does this mean the Sudan is a better place to live than Denmark?
Many exmos talk about how they went through difficulty after
leaving the cult. Mormonism doesn't prepare you to be a human
being. Mormonism only prepares you to be a Mormon.
If after leaving the protective womb of Mormonism, you find
that there are difficulties being in the real world, then you
are just like that guy transplanted from the Sudan into
Denmark. If he can make it over the initial barriers he'll
find that living in Denmark is a WHOLE lot better than living
in the Sudan.
