Okay, this date works for me. It will be me, spouse and kids but youngest is at that age where sitting still in a restaurant can't be expected for long so husband will probably have to take her outside for most of it.
It is suppose to be me thumbing my nose at growing up being called Sister H_______. I have lots of siblings and people couldn't remember "which one I was." So I was always called Sister H_____ by everyone. So I tried to put Sizter H but no spaces or capitals are allowed in moniker.
No one gets it but I decided I didn't care.
When I got my resignation acceptance they addressed it to Sister MarriedName. It gave me the willies. No one had ever called me that before!
I should be there although it will be the morning after the big state-wide annual Creek Indian gathering in Anaheim. I will be moving slowly... occasionally speaking in Muscogean!
I had a great time talking with everyone. Thanks for arranging this kj! The older I get the more I realize that my dad and home life were crazy and not the norm. But it helps to hear so many similar experiences.
Had a lot more rain on our journey. Had to turn around once and switch roads from a rain related accident. Went on a different road and had to cross a temporary river that was flooding that road. Quite an adventure. The kids thought it great fun. Wish the rain was up at our place.
