I'm married and we are still paying tithing (for now--picking and choosing my battles, folks).

In any case, I don't think that the ward clerk, bishop, his counselors etc. have any reason to be looking at my finances.

I've looked online for the electronic tithing method but haven't found anything reliable (plus, the Church discourages it b/c it is, apparently, only for really wealthy people or something).

Anyone know how to do this reliably? Church says you can use bill pay (but a paper check is just sent ot the ward anyway, which I don't want).

Heard rumor that the church discourages this - seems to be confirmed as the link is dead. However, the email address is there so you can email them.

I did it for many years and it's still an active program. In fact, my account is still set up with the church but haven't used it in some years.

The pay online option was meant for military members on active duty who don't have access to a ward through which they could pay tithing.

I paid my tithing this way for a while. Easy to setup just email donations@ldschurch.org
